"Cinema Mentale" is a modus operandi that has accompanied me in these years, and it is the title of my Bachelor thesis project.

In fact, for me the phases of designing a collection are comparable to the stages of producing a movie. The element that triggers my design process is always a narrative inspiration: I like to start with the script of the story, followed by the choice of the characters as if I am a screenwriter and a director of the story that I want to tell. Words help me to delineate an inner world and they come step by step accompanied by images, drawings, lines and volumes that finally materialize into garments.

After a Foundation Course at Polimoda in Florence, I graduated in Fashion Design and Multimedia Arts at IUAV University of Venice.

I did an internship at Haider Ackermann in Antwerp, after my graduation in March 2019.

I was involved in the product development department and I worked close to a menswear designer helping out on the launch of SS20 collection.

I also did another internship during the first semester of my third year of University, at Isa Arfen in London, where I gained valuable insights regarding how a collection is created from sketches into garments,

in the Sampling and Production areas. At the moment I’m developing a new menswear collection that will be finalized soon.
